About Us

San Ramon Little League

San Ramon Little League (SRLL) is a fully chartered Little League open to all boys and girls between the ages of 5-16 living within or attending a school within the boundaries for SRLL as determined and approved by Little League Baseball. We play within District 57 of the Western Region of Little League.

SRLL has been providing a fun and rewarding baseball experience for over 45 years.  We have over 1,000 children from T-Ball through our upper divisions that participate each year.

SRLL has developed a strong program and had great success in post season play the last several years.  Our 10, 11, and 12 yr. old All-Star teams have won eight District 57 titles, five Sectional Titles, three Northern CA Runner-ups, and a Northern CA State Championship.    Upper Division teams have done very well with several District 57 Championships at the Juniors All-Stars and Big All-Star Divisions in recent years.

SRLL is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors, which is elected by General Election Board Meetings. The playing season for SRLL usually begins with practices in February and ends for most players in June. Post-Season and All-Stars begins in June and ends in late July or early August.

Hello San Ramon Little League Families,

Happy New Year! Hope this email finds you healthy and well.

We are excited to announce that we are officially opening up Spring 2021 registration. This is a very special season as it’s our 50th anniversary. We have quite a bit to share with you, so our apologies in advance for the lengthy email. Please read the entire email as it contains new and critical information about the upcoming season.

This last year has certainly been stressful and challenging on so many levels. We take the health and well-being of our players and community very seriously and will continue to follow state orders for youth sports. In our current county level of Purple, we will only be allowed to practice.  Per the State orders for Youth Sports, Baseball is listed as the first team sport that will be allowed to play games when our county drops to red! According to the State of California, baseball is one of the most socially distant sports. We know many are itching to get their kids out of the house to play safely with friends --- that’s why we urge you to sign up for baseball today!

Volunteering

Our league is 100% volunteer run and we couldn’t operate without your support. That is why we are requesting every family volunteer this season for at least 8 hours. When you register, please indicate which volunteer position you would like. There will be a separate volunteer sign up if you don’t see a volunteer role that works for you during registration. Please select “other opportunities” and we will follow up with you at a later date. You can also opt-out of volunteering all together for $200.

Navigating through Covid

T-ball & Rookie: In the event we never make it to the Red tier, and stay in Purple the entire season, our season would be restricted to practices only. Or if you make it to Red (which means we play games!) and then fall back to Purple before May 15, we will make the following adjustments:

The season will only cost you $100 per player and you will receive a check back for the remaining fee you paid.  There will be no refunds issued after May 15, regardless of what tier we are in.

All Other: As with T-ball and Rookie, in the event we never make it to the Red tier, and stay in Purple the entire season, our season would be restricted to practices only. We will make the following adjustments:The season will only cost you $100 per player and you will receive a check back for the remaining fee you paid. Since the season is extended for these divisions, if we play some games, but head back to purple before July 1, you'll get 50% back. There will be no refunds issued after July 1, regardless of what tier we are in.

Coaches Training

SRLL will be hosting 4 "Coaches trainings" for ALL existing coaches and those that would like to coach in the Spring or those that think they might want to coach.  Dates forthcoming.  Please email [email protected] if you'd like to attend.
